Wall Plaque Mounting Instructions
  1. Place your new plaque (A) up against the wall in the desired location, check for level and mark the wall in the mounting hole locations
  2. If the mounting surface is wood or wood covered with siding, use a drill and 1/8” drill bit to drill a pilot hole at each mounting hole location. Note: If the mounting surface is masonry please see recommendations below.
  3. Using the provided wall screws (B) and phillips screw driver, secure the plaque (A) to the wall. Note: if the house siding is too thick or layered over foam board insulation, longer #8 screws (not provided) may be required.

Masonry Recommendations:

When attaching your address plaque to brick, block, or cultured/faux stone walls it will be necessary to purchase the appropriate anchors for your mounting surface. For most brick or block applications, a standard plastic wall anchor (not provided) for a #8 screw can be used in conjunction with the provided #8 screws. An appropriately sized masonry bit will also be needed to drill the holes for the anchors.

Cleaning Instructions:

Your new address plaque is made of hand-cast recycled aluminum with tough Alumi-Shield™ finishes to withstand all weather conditions and will retain its appearance for many years. However, chemicals, solvents and salts can harm the finish. It is important to clean the plaque of any harmful elements including salt deposits from salt air climates or salt treated roads and walkways. To clean this product, use a non-abrasive detergent and water with a cloth, sponge, or soft brush. Note: The simulated metal finishes cannot be brightened by polishing.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Push an O-ring screw gasket (D) onto the treads of the cap screw (C) until it reaches the head of the screw.
  2. Position stake (B) on the back side of the plaque (A) so that the bottom of the plaque is resting on the stake’s frontside shelf (B2).
  3. From the backside of the stake (B), place the flanged hex nut (E) into the slot. Note: The hex nut should be flipped so that hex portion is inside the stake.
  4. While holding the lawn stake (B) and hex nut (E) in place, insert a cap screw with o-ring (Step 1) through the hole in the plaque and thread it into the hex nut. Do not tighten completely.
  5. Make sure the plaque (A) is level against the frontside shelf (B2) of the lawn stake (B) so that the stake is perpendicular to the plaque. Use the allen wrench (F) to tighten the cap screw until the plaque does not swivel.
